🔢 HOW TO READ THE %s ON THIS PAGE
CROWD % (e.g. "85% Magomedov") = the Tapology community vote — thousands of fans picking who they think wins. It is public opinion, not a price.
PRICE % (the "Book implied" bar on each fight) = what the bookmaker's odds imply — a −330 price works out to ~77%. It comes straight from the betting price; the project's census figures strip out the vig (the bookmaker's cut) first.
HISTORY % = how often that situation ACTUALLY won across 7,963 historical UFC fights with odds in our database. This is the one the system trusts — when PRICE % and HISTORY % disagree, that gap is where the value (or the trap) lives.
CROWD BAR (under each fight's matchup) = the Tapology vote drawn as a bar: left = first fighter, right = second, split by picks %. Each side is shadedKO/TKOSubmissionDecision — how each fighter's voters think he'll win. Exact numbers are in the caption under the bar (~ = read off the bar, approximate).
⭐ Tonight's sharpest spots (Buddy's read)
Delano vs Magomedov — the crowd/book fight of the night. Book has it a pick'em (-110 both ways), but 79% of Tapology picks are on Magomedov (7,011 picks, captured tonight; Friday citations had him at 85%). His pickers leaned submission (59% of them) — yet he won by decision. Magomedov is 11-0 with every win by finish; Delano is the pressure/cardio side who gets stronger late. The pre-fight read was: Magomedov early or Delano live after Round 1 — don't pay a premium either way.
Age-gap fades in the light divisions: Elijah Smith (24) vs Davey Grant (40) at bantamweight, and Jose Souza (24, 10-inch reach edge) vs Jonny Parsons (35, out 3+ years). Youth + layoff are exactly the spots the market under-prices.
Short-notice fade: Carlos Calderon took the Bashi fight on 4 days' notice — short-notice replacements win ~36%. Bashi's chain wrestling (2+ takedowns a round) is the worst style for it. Bashi by submission is the angle, not his -550 straight price.
Main event: Cortes-Acosta has never been knocked out; Walker has lost 6 times by KO and has never proven 5-round heavyweight cardio. Cortes-Acosta by KO or the Under on rounds is the lean — but both men took this on short notice, so size it like the volatile fight it is.
Passes at the price: Ko (-750), Milosevic (-550), Bashi (-550) straight — one slip erases a night. Method props or nothing.
🐶 UNDERDOG LAB — WHERE DOG VALUE LIVES (7,918 DOGS PRICED)
Blind dogs: DEAD. Betting every underdog loses −8.8% at the close (−16.5% at the open). Worse with price: +250–349 → −15.2% · +350–499 → −29.4% · +500+ → −32.8%. Big dogs win LESS often than their price implies (at +350–499: actually won 13.9% · the price implied 19.1%). No "so big it's value" zone.
The Petroski seat — dog vs a SIGNAL favourite: −18.7% at close (n=2,290, PF 0.74). The single worst pool in the project. Dogs cash there 27.6% of the time — one landing is the pool's normal math, not an edge.
Dogs carrying their OWN signal — the only green: striking-differential dog +16.1% at close (PF 1.289, n=190, wins 44.2%) · younger-by-8+ dog +8.2% (PF 1.143, n=229) · either signal +3.7% at close. Candidates for the v2 trial, not proven edges. Dog rule flip: bet signal dogs LATE — dogs drift longer, so the close beats the open (opposite of the favourite side).
💵 Bankroll & System Stakes
Your bankroll: $ → Total system action tonight: $0
How a stake is set: only fights where a census candidate signal fires get considered (age gap, fade-35, striking differential, streak ride — the four that survived 7,963 historical bouts). Stake = ¼-Kelly using that signal's historical win rate vs tonight's price, capped at 2% of bankroll per fight. If the price is worse than the signal's historical win rate, the system says PASS — $0, and shows the price it would buy at. No signal = no bet. Stakes update live as you change the bankroll. Every fight below carries its own green BET strip with the dollar amount for your bankroll — $0 means the system passes that fight.
📊 Census results — what history actually said (7,963 bouts)
Age gap ≥5 yrs → younger: +7.2% ROI at the open, PF 1.19, positive in all 3 eras (≥8 yrs: +11.1%, PF 1.34)
Striking differential ≥2.0/min → higher: +8.9% open / +5.1% close — most era-consistent signal tested
Fade age 35+ at ≤155 lbs: +7.7% open (fragile in the recent era — smaller trust)
These are candidates, not proven edges — one census on seen data, ~2 false positives expected by chance. The project's own rule still applies: 100 forward paper bets before real money is "the system working." Anything bet tonight is Jacob's call, sized by the calculator's discipline.

💵 Tennis — Action Board & System Stakes
Your bankroll: $ → Total system action today: $0
Re-pulls ESPN fixtures, live scores & results on the server and rebuilds this card.
Stake rule (same as MMA): only an armed census candidate signal can produce a bet — ¼-Kelly against the signal class's historical win rate, capped at 2% of bankroll. Census v1 armed zero signals, so every strip reads $0 and tracking patterns are shown for the record. The keyless ESPN feed carries no bookmaker odds (verified field-by-field); if a signal ever arms, the strip shows the system buy price instead of inventing one.

🎾 TENNIS CENSUS — 58,330 DECISIVE MATCHES GRADED AT THE PINNACLE CLOSE
The tennis closing line is a wall. Short favourites and short dogs are priced within ~1 point of reality (FAV 1.01–1.20: win 89.1% vs 87.3% implied; DOG 2.01–2.50: 44.6% vs 43.6%) — and every band still loses at the raw price once you pay the overround. Worst seat in tennis: longshot dogs at 5.01+ — win 11.2% vs 12.9% priced, −19.0% ROI.
Candidates: NONE. All six frozen signals are dead at the close — points-ratio −2.5% ROI · age-gap → younger −2.7% · hot-form −2.9% · lefty −5.7% (lefties actually win 48.6% vs 49.2% implied — there is no lefty premium) · surface specialist −1.5% (ATP-only +0.2% is the nearest miss — not armed) · fatigue fade −13.1%.
The fatigue signal is inverted: a player on ≥4 matches in 14 days is usually winning those matches — the “fatigued” side won 65.7%. Filed as a v2 hypothesis only; v1 does not flip signals after seeing results.
Best-of-5 favourites (ATP Slams) win 76.8% but return −0.2% — the market prices the long-match edge almost exactly.
What that means below: the daily card runs in tracking mode — full feature lines on every match, dead signals tagged when they would have fired, all stakes $0 — until a future frozen census produces a real candidate. The card arms itself automatically if one ever passes.
